Lido di Jesolo was originally a Roman settlement called Equilium (later renamed Jesolo) situated on an island at the mouth of the river Piave and was ruled by the Venetian Doges for 11 centuries.

Jesolo’s fame is mainly due to the fact that it has one of the best equipped beaches in the Veneto region and is famous for both the quality of its sea and the tranquillity it offers its guests.

The cycle paths start in Jesolo and can take you all over the northern Venetian lagoon, Eraclea Mare, Caorle, the Cavallino locks and the new suspended cycle path to the Casson canal

Entertainment in Jesolo is assured thanks to the presence of numerous beach bars, cocktail bars and beach clubs located along the seafront, in the centre and, above all, in the lido area.

After eight o’clock in the evening, the main street becomes pedestrianised and turns into a huge rambla with restaurants, pizzerias, pubs and shops open until 10 p.m. where you can spend your wonderful evenings. Nightclubs are within easy reach.
